Reminder to residents of lawn watering by-laws

Residents of the Union Water Supply System are reminded that from May to September each year lawn watering is restricted to every other day according to your house number. Even numbered homes shall water on even days and odd numbered homes shall water on odd days. This helps the UWSS to reduce water demand during hot, dry summers, like the one our area is experiencing right now. Exemptions can made for those who have planted fresh sod.
