Great Lakes Ice Remains Low

The Great Lakes are the warmest they have been in about 16 years and with the warmer temperatures there has been less ice cover this winter than previous years. It appears that the ice cover is expected to grow over the next several days as temperatures begin to dip lower. With improved ice cover there will be less evaporation.
