Canadian Water Network – Report from Canadian Municipal Water Constorium

The Canadian Municipal Water Consortium is a group working together to advance water, wastewater and stormwater management. The Canadian Water Network has prepared Balancing the Books: Financial Sustainability for Canadian Water Systems. While working together to share knowledge the working group also co-invests in projects and partnerships in order to generate new insights on the challenges these utilities face.
This report has been prepared to highlight full cost recovery, financial practices at Canadian utilities, challenges in achieving financially sustainable water systems and identifies opportunities to advance to financial sustainability.
