The UWSS water treatment plant, in Ruthven, reponded to Monday’s concern of a toxic blue/green algae bloom near its intake. The Manager noted that the UWSS has continuous monitoring equipment as part of a three year study that monitors for any possible blue/green algae blooms in Lake Erie.
