With the hot, humid weather arriving in our area and expected to last over the next few days and potentially into next week, the UWSS would like to remind all users to reduce their daytime/afternoon water use. Moving your water use to evenings will assist us greatly to avoid the peak highs experienced at the water treatment plant. All users are reminded of the ongoing construction of the DAF Phase 1 – Clarifier Retrofit project and therefore the Union Water Supply System is currently running at a reduced capacity. Being mindful of reducing daytime/afternoon use will allow the UWSS to maintain optimal levels of water output from the Ruthven Water Treatment Plant.
