Ohio researchers are predicting a smaller algae bloom in Lake Erie than that experienced in 2017.  The researchers use nutrient data to make their predictions collecting data from various locations along the Maumee River in Ohio.  Determining where the algae bloom will end up is not so easy to determine.  The winds play a vital role in that determination so it is anyone’s guess.  For further reading please click of the Windsor Star to see the full article.
